Whether you ride for fun or regularly compete, your horse is an athlete. We ask them to perform as our partners in every ride, so we should be supporting their physical needs as best as we can.
Equine bodywork targets specific areas in the body that often becomes sore and painful, and over time, relieves discomfort. Let’s work together to keep your horse feeling and performing at their best.
This is a full body work from head to tail including muscle work, trigger point release, acupressure, and stretching of all limbs. A full body evaluation is done before deciding which actions to take and each session is tailored to each individual’s needs.
I have found SO many benefits to my equine clients with this modality. It has been known to relieve emotional and physical stress, release compression in the head, back, and neck, and has also been known to restore mobility in the cranial bones.
The PEMF blanket I use for sessions pairs really well with bodywork as well as after any exercise to help relax and loosen muscles. This piece of equipment has been shown to decrease muscle soreness as well as increase circulation to any areas with injury to help the healing process.
Kinesiology taping is a service offered in addition to the other services. I have used this modality for issues like sore muscles, tendon/muscle support, damaged nerves, rehab cases, etc. Using this modality in conjunction with massage or craniosacral has drastically improved my client’s performance and decreased healing times.
This service is one that I am very excited for and can be offered alone or with bodywork! A fitness evaluation includes a detailed look at your horse's muscle and posture imbalances, a gait assessment, and testing range of motion with stretching before and after corrective exercise. The owner will learn all aspects of this session and be able to continue the work at home.
This is a full body work from head to tail including muscle work, trigger point release, acupressure, and stretching of all limbs. A full body evaluation is done before deciding which actions to take and each session is tailored to each individual’s needs. We combine this with Craniosacral Therapy to relieve emotional stress, and release compression in the head, back, and neck. Finally, we finish the session with K-taping at no additional charge.
